2ND ANNUAL FRANKENSTEIN FRIDAY!

Yesterday was the 2nd annual celebration of everyone's favorite misunderstood cinematic monster.

My very good friend and brilliantly talented comic book artist, Russ Braun (-google him now if you want to spend hours looking at beautiful artwork) started this last year after he'd spent a year or so having his Friday warm up sketch be of some version of Frankenstein.

Russ invited all his friends and fellow artists to a Facebook page he created to post their own interpretations of Frankenstein just as a way of getting us all together for a virtual celebration the Friday before Halloween.

So, here are my submissions for this year's celebration.

So, here it is, October 30th that well know pre-Halloween celebration known the world over as, Frankenstein Friday!

What?  You've never heard of this?  Well, that's because it's year one of the celebration started by my good friend and immensely talented artist, Russ Braun.  https://www.facebook.com/russ.braun.589

Russ starts everyday by doing sketches of random subjects that he loves and Frankenstein turned out to be one of his favorite repeat subjects.  From sketching movie incarnations or the Groovy Ghoulies Frank, to The Monster Cereal baddies of Frankenberry, Count Chocula and BooBerry, Russ decided that Fridays sketches were always going to be Frankenstein related.

And this year with Halloween falling on a Saturday, Russ decided to have the Friday before Halloween, October 30th be an official day to celebrate all types of artwork created out of a love for Frankenstein. So he created an event page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/events/724226927682174/

All day today, anyone and everyone is welcome to post something they created or have or love or whatever that relates to Frankenstein.

I went a bit nuts and made 6 pieces, but it was a really nice break from endless work hours to shut everything else out and just have some fun.  So here's all my Frankenstein Friday Fun!!!!
